Legal Notice Sign

Chief of Police Darius E. Engles of the Pacific Grove Police Department has suggested a small sign be placed over a receptacle for disposal of wine cups or wine. As part of our effort to craft a model for serving wine at artwalks statewide in cooperation with local authorities and the ABC, we ask that you provide a container with the sign over it. The wording is provided by the Police Department and simply states that it is illegal to carry an open container of alcohol on the streets and sidewalks of Pacific Grove, please empty or dispose of your wine glass or cup here (arrow pointing down). You are not required to do this, however your cooperation will help inform the public and create goodwill.
